Re: After putting ibdata1 file in data folder, service does not start

Server crashed Data----- Original Data that we need to recover
Install MYSQL 5.5------- Data folder is new folder

I made a copy of new data folder and named that folder data_old.
In Data folder, i put just databases folders from original data not ibdata1 and log files.

It runs and shows databases name and tables names. but with no data and stutucre

When i copy ibdata1 file from original data and put it in new data folder .
then service will not run...It show mysql stopped unexpectidely

Yes i have tried to move log files. service will not run
