using Load data infile - Performance issue

Hi

Please let me know how to improve performance when using "load data infile" command.

What are the differences between MYISM amd InnoDb engines. Which is the best for load data infile command?

I have around 2 GB of data log file. I want to insert this data into Mysql table using "load data infile" command. It took around 8 mins to load the data into table. Please let me know is there any way to improve this performance.
