MySQL, MySQL++, DevCpp

I want to use MySQL, MySQL++, DevCpp to write a Windows application. I installed the MySQL Ver. 5.0.37, the DevCpp 4.9.9.2, and also installed the libmysql from devpack and tried to compile the MySQL++ library. Amoung many warnings, the compiler send me just one error: Definition of static data member 'mysql::Connection::legal_opt_arg_types_' of dllimport'd class, and I do not know what I'm to do now. Please help!
