Hi,

There shouldn't be difference between vs2008 express and... er... not express edition. At least none I can think of.

If you get exception thrown, I'd start with debugging code and find out which row does throw it.

I never saw such exception like you described.

btw, your delete's are fine - objects are created inside c/c++ methods.
