Gal,
that looks like most common problem on this forum - mixing of debug and release code. i guess if you build release version of you library - things might get better. or link debug version of c/c++(but here some variants are possible).

p.s. there is setSchema method - so you don't really have to execute "use <schema_name>" statement.
