UNCOMPRESS in select query

Hi,
I am using the C++ connector, 1.0.5 and during my inserts the COMPRESS keyword work's great. It passes the query onto the server, and it does its needful.
However, during prepared statements, the UNCOMPRESS tag does not work and causes and exception. Is this a known issue?
