MySQL 8.0: Connector/C++ Master/Slave Replication

All,

I'm new to the forum and I'm using the MySQL Connector C++ and I'm looking to do easy Master/Slave replication. The post here: https://dev.mysql.com/doc/connectors/en/connector-j-master-slave-replication-connection.html has functions for doing this, but as far as I can see, it's only the Java version. If anyone has experience with this and has a good solution, I'd be quite interested.
