I don't know ... https://www.xaprb.com/blog/2006/04/11/bit-values-in-mysql/ persuades me not to trust MySQL docs on bits (https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0/en/bit-type.html) and not to use MySQL bit columns.
