MySQL and C++
I just started programming with C++ (have only programmed in PHP up until now) and wish to access my MySQL database in it. I am on a linux box and downloaded MySQL++. When I ./configure mysql++ I get this error checking for MySQL library directory... configure: error: Didn't find the mysql library dir in ''. I'm not quite sure what to do as I've been away from Linux for a bit and have just started with C++. Any suggestions?
