(This forum is not so alive)

I tried to go back to the basics and do it in Linux just like it is in the manual, but if I don't use LOCAL (which is undesireable for performance reasons) it doesn't work. I alway get the same error:

Can't get stat of '/var/lib/mysql/myfifo.pipe' (Errcode: 13)

This is not because the file is not there (if it isn't the Errorcode is 2). This seems some kind of permission problem but the fifo is owned by the mysql user and has read/write permissions for everybody, in addition it is in the database directory.

Any one tried that?
Any ideas?

Thank you,
Sela.
