Accessing mysql 8 server from win32 bit app
We have a legacy win 32 bit app which connects to mysql 5.7 server.
We would like to connect to mysql 8.... server, but there is no 32 bit C connector available. It seems we can use old connector without support for new native password for mysql 8 server. I do wonder if that will be the only problem we will have if using the old connector?
Is there anyone who resolved this situation?
I would think that there would be huge number of applications which are still 32 bit, and can not be easily converted to 64 bit without huge cost to businesses.
Any help related to this question would be appreciated.
