Re: users and privileges lost by Upgrade
Thank you. I did (as always) run mysql_upgrade, but the privileges were already gone, and not recovered. It was my fault for not backing up the latest mysql schema, which of course next time I will do. I think the sequence is like this:
- backup mysql
- install the upgrade
- restore mysql
- run mysql_upgrade
