Actually, I now see that the service does indeed start, but other than allowing me to login using a command line window, what good is it. I want to have a systray icon as I'm supposed to. How do I get it?
I guess I'm really confused...If I write a program in say, Java, how does my program utilize the MySQL that appears to be installed? I gues it's a dumb question...sorry...but if I don't ask, I just remain stupid, so someone, please explain...thanks
