THIS SOLUTION WORKS!!

I had the same issue, but worked around it by selecting CUSTOM install, and then deselecting the Excel option. This was actually the suggestion from Yangfei zhu in this thread, but there were some typos so it may not have come across correctly. If you need the Excel option, then I don't have any suggestions for you.
