I have installed a application using XAMPP on a windows 2008 R2 server. I am trying to connect to the database using Mysql Connector from a PC that is not "localhost". I am getting...

"New XAMPP security concept:

Access to the requested directory is only available from the local network.

This setting can be configured in the file "httpd-xampp.conf".

The PC that I am using is logged on to a domain, as a user, and is passing the the domain name as a part of the logon request to the Mysql server.

So, could somebody please tell me what security/conf additions/changes need to be made to accommodate this need?

Thanks
