Need Help w. MySQL 5.6 Install.
I have now tried BOTH methods to install the MySQL Server 5.6, thru the zip file and also the Mysql Installer. after trying with the zip file when I try to start it in dos I first type myslqd, then mysql [in the installation folder] I get an error message saying this : "c:\mysql-5.5.33-winx64\bin>mysql
ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost'(10061)"
and when I try woith the MySql Installer with the server being at the top of the list of the various components it tries to install it always says "Install Error" by the server. Can someone please help me with this?
