Are you trying to install Oracle MySQL or are you trying to install Microsoft SQL Server? If you are trying to install SQL Server, then this is not our product and we can't help you with it here.

SQL is a language used to store and retrieve data in databases. There are lots of different database servers that you can use SQL with. MySQL is a database server that's produced by Oracle, and that's the one that we discuss on this forum. SQL Server is a completely different database server, made by a completely different company. If you're wanting to use Microsoft SQL Server, then you should find a resource for helping people with Microsoft SQL Server, because people using this forum are here because they use MySQL and are likely not to know anything about SQL Server.

It is likely that if your site uses ASP.Net, then the database is SQL Server and not MySQL.

If you do not know which of these two different database products your site is using, then maybe you should contact the previous developer and ask him, before proceeding any further.
