I don't know why this error occur, but as far as I see could be a problem of the certificates installed in your system and/or the internet explorer cache, please try to see the certificates installed, you can go to your internet explorer settigs, Content tab, certificates, look for any certificate and remove them.

even if you don't use IE those settings are used by the OS, if you continue having this issues perhaps you will need to file a bug explaining every step that you are using to have that escenario

one more question, your company have any special policy about third party certificates or something?
