Hi Peter, thanks for your reply

We can’t upgrade de installation because we are creating a new machine. That way
I need to install windows 7 with 5.1, then go up until the version 5.5, I think, upgrade to windows 10 then 5.7

The think is this is a new machine with win10 licence key.

The error that I am getting is no connection. The think is that the port doesn’t not respond.

I try do a telnet to the localhost on port 3306 an it works fine. It asks me for the user and password. If I try on the same machine but using the lan ip address it doesn’t ask me anything just a black screen. If I do a port scan to the local machine the port is open but on the lan address it doesn’t show.

For me the server is only responding to the localhost ip address, 127.0.0.1, all others are block by the server. I can ping my local ip address, other machines and other can ping this machine too.

On the logs I don’t see nothing that can be the cause of the problem
Here is my log and ini file.

# On Linux you can copy this file to /etc/my.cnf to set global options,
# mysql-data-dir/my.cnf to set server-specific options
# (@localstatedir@ for this installation) or to
# ~/.my.cnf to set user-specific options.
#
# On Windows you should keep this file in the installation directory
# of your server (e.g. C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server X.Y). To
# make sure the server reads the config file use the startup option
# "--defaults-file".

# To run run the server from the command line, execute this in a
# command line shell, e.g.
# mysqld --defaults-file="C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server X.Y\my.ini"

# To install the server as a Windows service manually, execute this in a
# command line shell, e.g.
# mysqld --install MySQLXY --defaults-file="C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server X.Y\my.ini"
