Hi Peter.

I did a post but some how its not showing :(

i can access the server on port 3306 if i use the localhost name or address (localhost or 127.0.0.1) but if i use the name of the pc or LAN ip address, 192.168.1.1, i cant access the server.

i did try to do a port scan and telnet too, but the result is the same, localhost works if not doesn't.

just one more info. if i try to connect with the local host the server ask me the username and password, if not id doesn't show any information, like theres no services running on that port.
