Re: Windows installer does not list version 5.6

I had the same problem and the following solved it ...
Uninstalled MySQL Installer

Downloaded the larger MSI instead of the web download

Right-clicked on MSI and selected "Troubleshoot Compatibility"

Clicked on "Test the program" from resultant dialogue box.

Now when choosing "Add" from inside MySQL Installer, version 5.6.36 is available
