MySQL Server 8.0.1.1 Won't Install

I have attempted to install MySQL server on windows 10, all components apart from the server are installed correctly apart from the server. The message in the details tab is: The action 'Install' for product 'MySQL Server 8.0.11' failed.
I have a lot of C++ Redistributables installed including x64 and x86 versions of the 2017 Redistributals will this be causing the failure if so how do I proceed do I un-install the 2017 versions and then install the 2015 versions?
