Unable to fulling install MySQL

I recently assembled a gaming PC and installed Window 10 Education from my Uni's website. As for my major, I am required to download MySQL Community to use the Server. I tried downloading it many times and it kept failing on me. I read blogs about other's with similar issues and they all have the issue resolved by downloading Microsoft C++. I downloaded that, but the installation kept failing. There were many times I uninstall them to reinstall them again. I even deleted the SQL files from the program folder.
Are there any more software or components I would need to install first??
