Ignacio, Diana, gs,

could you please clarify how did you try to uninstall the server? Was that through MySQL Installer, or through 'Add or remove programs'? Did you install to the default location? Could you please verify whether the MYSQL80 service is still running after uninstall attempt?

I can't see anything unusual in the log provided by Diana and will need to try to find other ways to find out where the problem is.
