Re: MySQL installer missing Notifier
Turns out the Installer no longer offers Notifier; it's now "covered under Oracle Lifetime Sustaining Support"---which doesn't say but does imply that it's now a pay-for rather than a community product. Oracle Sustaining Support isn't cheap.
