It's in C:/Programfiles/Mysql/Mysql workbench? Not in C:/Program files/Mysql/Mysql workbench?
When you double-click on it in its folder, what happens? Is there an error message? If not, what does the Windows Event Viewer say about it?
What happens when you click on "Repair" for WB under "Add or remove programs"?
