Source code for Installer is not publicly available.
Also, the error you are seeing is not specific to MySQL but rather a generic error that may appear when uninstalling an msi. Multiple reports for other non-MySQL products can be found in the internet as well.

Likely you still have registry keys remaining in your system that are preventing the uninstall from completing, for which you will need a cleanup tool to find and remove any leftovers.
