Link Excel 2013 to MySQL

Hi all,

I have a MySQL database in a server with some tables I'd like to download to an Excel 2013 spreadhseet.

I'd like this connection to be "live", that is, whenever the tables are updated in MySQL, the spreadsheet should be able to refresh the data.

I have installed MySQL Connector 6.6.5 and in Excel I go to "Data Explorer" , "Get External Data from MySQL", type in the host name and databse name and get the error:

DataSource.NotFound: MySQL: Unable to find a database provider with invariant name 'MySql.Data.MySqlClient'.
This error may have been the result of provider-specific client software being required but missing on this computer. To download client software for this provider, visit the following site and choose at minimum 'MySQL Connector/Net': http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=278885 Details: null

I have installed the driver countless times and restarted my PC over and over, but I always get this error.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!
