Hi Tom,
Thanks for writing in our forums!
Do you see the MySQL for Excel Add-In installed in both the COM Add-Ins list in Excel 2007 and Excel 2010??

The Add-In may have only been installed in 2007 but not on 2010.
We have certified MySQL for Excel working with Excel 2010. The problem may be related to the 2 versions of Excel co-existing in your computer.

You said you can open it correctly in 2007, meaning it is working.
