Hi Kelly,
When clicking the MySQL for Excel button in the Data ribbon you should see the add-in appearing at the right side of the Excel window. If it is not appearing at all it would really help if you can check any information in the MySQL for Excel log that may indicate why this is failing in your environment.
The log is located at %appdata%\Oracle\MySQL for Excel
Do you have VSTO already installed?
Also did you try re-installing the product??
