Okay, after restarting Excel with the changed delimiters, the preview in "Export Data" is correct and the export succeeds after some other starts from scratch. It seems that the application does not retrieve its data at the time of export, but at the time of initialisation.

BTW, if the export fails, the table has been created. This causes the next export to fail *because* the table exists.
