What version of MySQL for Excel are you seeing this issue on?
MySQL for Excel 1.1.1 includes a fix for a similar bug reported about numbers in a European locale. Hope you are seeing this using version 1.1.0, if so please give version 1.1.1 a try to see if it solves the problem you are seeing.
