Sorry for not mentioning. I am already using Version 1.1.1.

As I mentioned, the workaround is changing windows' (7 Enterprise 64bit) locale to English(US) and starting Excel after that. Thus, the numbers are displayed with the dot as decimal delimiter (and dates as american dates and times with am/pm) and the export finally succeeds.

Nevertheless I suppose, you don't want the users to change their locale for MySQL for Excel to work. You just have to ask Excel for the native data, not the localized data. In VBA for Excel, this is the difference between Range.FormulaLocal and Range.Formula
