MySQL for Excel is an add-in that lets you use Excel as a front-end to perform import, export and edit data operations against MySQL tables. It sounds like you are looking for a product that helps you write an application that lets you interact with MySQL and Excel. Depending on the coding language you are intending to use I suggest you to take a look to our Connectors, if you are planning to do this using .NET download and play with Connector/NET, it will certainly help you with your coding needs.
MySQL for Excel for instance is written in .NET and uses Connector/NET to connect to the MySQL databases.
