Hi Tom,
Thanks for writing in our forums.
I have questions based on the information you provided:

1. Is your intention to delete the row or just clear some of the values? Clearing the values of a row is not the same as deleting it.
2. Are you connecting to a DB where multiple users may be updating the data?
3. How do the queries generated by the Edit Data operation look like? If you do not see any SQL query you need to access the Global Options dialog (there is a button on the panel where you clicked Edit Data where you display those options) and select either the radio button to preview SQL queries before they are sent to the DB or the one that shows the executed SQL queries along with their results.

Please provide the information in a further reply to see what is happening.
In case the answer to my first question is that you want to delete the whole row, then delete the Excel row by right-clicking on it just the way you would delete the row in Excel.
