Hi,
Judging by the error message you are getting a timeout is occurring and it may occur for a variety of reasons.
Is this happening only with a single specific schema or with any schema in that server instance?
Did you mention in a different post that you got the same error with MySQL Workbench? If so then there is something wrong in that server instance and you may need to contact your DB admin.
You may try increasing the timeout seconds in the MySQL for Excel Global Options (something maybe like 300 seconds) and check if this fixes the problem. Still bumping this value is normally not needed and you need to consider there is a problem with your connection or with the server.
