Re: MySQL for Excel installation error
Dear all,
I'm quite facing the same situation. I had a full installation of MySQL Server 5.6.15 with MySQL for Excel 1.1.3.
When I upgraded to MySQL Server 5.6.16, everything ran smooth, except MySQL for Excel 1.2.0. I can't install it too.
I've been asked to install Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime. I did it, but now, I don't have this request, but still can't install MySQL for Excel.
I've also tried with downloading separately MySQL for Excel on the website. During the installation, I don't have any failure message, but the installation is removed at the end. No reason too.
I'll be happy to help if you need more information.
My system:
Windows 8.1 Pro (x64)
Office 2013 Pro (x64)
MySQL Server 5.6.16
MySQL for Excel 1.1.3 (but cannot upgrade to 1.2.0)
Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime (x64)
.NET framework 4.5 (none lower)
