Matt,
Sorry if my reply could be interpreted in a wrong way.
I was just stating the fact that the NULL word is not the right way to send null values to the MySQL database and it is not an allowed value either in Excel, but a blank string is.

I asked you to change the bug report because if the bug is not reproducible it lowers the chances for it to be fixed.

Thanks for taking your time to report the bug and change the steps to duplicate, we really appreciate it.
