If the problem you are seeing happens with just 1 table I think you found a bug, can you please raise a bug report at
http://bugs.mysql.com ?
In it please include a description of the problem and steps to reproduce consistently the issue. If possible please provide a SQL script to re-create the table along with some data since the problem may be tied to the way the table was created and/or with the data it already contains.
Then you can subscribe to the bug to know when it is updated, fixed, etc.
