Hi Ries,
Thanks for writing in our forums.

I did a quick test filtering out some rows before passing them to an Export or Append Data operation, and what you describe is a shortcoming of the product. As far as I can tell, filtered rows may have never worked in previous MySQL for Excel versions.

Can you please raise a bug at http://bugs.mysql.com so this can be reviewed and implemented/fixed?
