I tried to respond to your message but I do not see my response.Here it is again.

I would like to use Excel as and App to control, add rows to, modify data in rows, etc of an existing MySQL practice database table using MySQL for Excel.

I followed the instruction for MYSQL for Excel. I was able to download the SQL database table to excel, use the procedure to add a row. That produced a revised table in a new Excel spreadsheet, but it did not revise the the original MySQL database table.

I am probably missing something or I am asking MySql for Excel to do somewthing it cannot do.
