MySQL for Excel plugin - What is required to make it run?
I am trying to share with my company how to setup this plugin to run with Excel 2010. Is there a list of minimum applications needed to make this work?
When I installed only the plug-in itself, after clicking the MySQL for Excel icon nothing happens.
After installing every single application listed in the Community Installer did it start to work. MySQL Server, Applications (Workbench, Notifier, For Excel, for Visual Studio, Utilities), Connectors (C++, J, NET, Python)
My question is what do I need installed exactly to make this plugin work. Don't want to have to install programs that aren't needed.
