I don't know what you mean by the "link" tab not appearing nowhere to access it.
Accessible where? What exactly did you install?
I am assuming you are writing in this forum because you are talking about MySQL for Excel, and it is not accessible within a "link" tab within Excel, it is accessible within the Data ribbon.
