Hi Mark,
My comment before was misleading, I thought there was a VSTO runtime for each architecture, but no, the VSTO runtime is offered as a single product that works for both x86 and x64 architectures.

So basically if you install using the stand-alone MSI, it should work or we have a bug in the MSI as well that fails to detect the VSTO version you are using.

So it would be very useful if you can provide the following information:
1. Download link where you got the VSTO runtime (exact download link if possible, the one pointing to the executable installer of the VSTOR).
2. If you go to Control Panel > Uninstall a Program, you should be seeing the Programs and Features window showing all installed software, please look for the VSTOR you have and tell me the exact version you have (should be the 5th column in the list).
