MySQL for Excel data types not documented
I installed MySQL for Excel and imported my table. Or rather tried to. I promptly got the "Input string was not in a correct format." error message.
After a bit of digging, someone "fixed" the issue by converting everything to Varchar data types. So some of the MySQL data types are not supported, fair enough.
But is there anywhere a table that shows what *is* supported? Is this mentioned in the documentation at all?
From a bit of experimentation at least int and decimal fail. Varchar and multilinestring work ok.
