There is no bug at all, actually mySQL is not able to pick sub and super scripts from excel, it will turn them into normal text. So we need to replace sub and super scripts by similar shape of symbols/unicodes before exporting to mysql to show them proper formulas on our web application of exam made by php laraval framework and mysql.

But we have over 500 excel files with over 80K MCQs so it is very hectic work to find sub script cell by cell and then replace them with unicode or insert symbols by total human input. we want to show H₂O on our web same as on our excel by subscript but mysql take it as H2O if we do not replace 2 by unicode or symbol by insert symbol or by this website https://unicode-table.com/en/#2082

It should be mysql feature to recognize sub and super script and show them as it is.
