Hi Faisal,
MySQL supports unicode encoding, so in theory you should be able to store H₂O without a problem.

With just the description it's hard to troubleshoot what you're seeing.
I would need to know how you are inserting the data in MySQL and how you are retrieving it back to Excel to try to duplicate the problem from my end.
