Unable to add services or instances (Strong name validation failed)

I have recently installed MySql 5.7 and I have an issue with adding new services/instances using the MySql Notifier.

I go to Manage Monitored Items -> Instances -> Add -> MySQL Instance -> Add New Connection -> Press OK

After I press OK, I get this High Severity Error:
"Could not load file or assembly 'MySql.Data, Version=6.9.9.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=...' or one of its dependencies. Strong name validation failed. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8013141A)"

I tried disabling the verification (using sn.exe -Vr) of the MySql.Data.dll file from the notifier folder but it didn't solve anything.

Any help will be appreciated! I really want to fix this issue.
