Hi,

There's a small bug when installing with VS2013 only, for description & workaround see http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=71474.

But, bear in mind the Visual Studio Express (any version) is not supported for MySql for Visual Studio. That means, among other things, that you cannot create connections for MySql in Server Explorer, which implies that you cannot use Entity Framework Database First or Model First.

Either you need a non-Express Visual Studio, or move to Entity Framework Code First, that works perfectly even in Express versions.
