Binding Gridview To SqlDataSource

Hi - I am trying to data bind a Gridview to an SqlDataSource. Having established a data connection I have tried to configure an SqlDataSource in design mode. Once the SqlDataSource has been dragged design surface and the configure token opened the data connection is selected however clicking next results in this error created in a dialog box.

"The data provider ‘MySql.Data.MySqlClient’ could not be found in the system configuration.
Unable to find the requested .Net Framework Data Provider. It may not be installed."

If I generate the code for the SqlDatasource in source mode as shown below, and a binding from the Gridview to this SqlDatasource is made the system works correctly.

Any help would be appreciated.

<asp:SqlDataSource runat="server" ID="SqlDataSource1"
ConnectionString="server=127.0.0.1;User Id=root;password=XXXXXXXX;database=mydatabase"
ProviderName="MySql.Data.MySqlClient"
SelectCommand="SELECT photo_info,id FROM ven" />
